Welcome to the Metropolitan Research Group's homepage. Under the
heading "Order in the City", the group had previously dealt with
problems of organizing life in very large cities. In continuation of
science-sociological research on the changes in the "metropolitan
discourse" that are taking place in urban studies, the group
currently concentrates on one major project Großstadt-Dokumente Research on metropoles and the intellectual milieu in Berlin around the turn of the 20th century |
