Management

The WZB has two directors who each hold office for six years.

The president, Prof. Jutta Allmendinger, develops central features of research policy and the thematic orientation of scientific units. The administrative director, Heinrich Baßler, is responsible for resolving business, legal and administrative issues.

Jutta Allmendinger has been president of the WZB since 2007. Heinrich Baßler has directed administrative affairs since 2005.

The executive management works in close consultation with research department directors.
