From secondary school to an apprenticeship: Social competence is decisive
In order to be hired as an apprentice, secondary school students must prove, above all, their social competence. This is a result of an extensive opinion poll of almost 500 secondary school students in Lower Saxony. According to the students, good grades in German and mathematics count far less than work ethics and a motivation to learn.
