Leviathan - Berlin Journal of Social Sciences
Leviathan magazine is committed to the idea of social scientific enlightenment and criticism. Published are current contributions in research and political, cultural, economic, philosophical, legal and media-related debate. It is directed toward a wide audience in the fields of teaching and research, politics and administration, and journalism and media. Representing methodological, disciplinary and political pluralism, the magazine builds bridges between theory, empiricism and political practice.
Leviathan is a peer-review publication and is published quarterly by the WZB together with the Freie Universität Berlin, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Hertie School of Governance, since March 2012 under the Nomos Verlag imprint. Editorial duties are in the hands of Reinhard Blomert, research associate at the WZB since 2007.
