Regional Manifestos Project. Extending the Manifesto Dataset to Sub-national Elections (the Case of Spain)

The Regional Manifestos Project is a collaboration project between the WZB and the IESA-CSIC, co-ordinated by Sonia Alonso (WZB) and Braulio Gómez (IESA-CSIC). We elaborate a dataset of the electoral programs presented by parties in sub-national elections, beginning with the case of Spain. In order to do so, we build on the existing Comparative Manifestos Project, hosted at the WZB and maintained by Andrea Volkens. The project has received funding from the Ministry of Science and Innovation of Spain.
