Structural Problems of Liberal Political Systems

Within the framework of his research professorship, Kurt Biedenkopf primarily examines questions of performance of European democracies that, faced with socioeconomic and demographic change and the burden of the social insurance system, are standing before enormous challenges.

Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Kurt Biedenkopf was appointed a three-year research professorship beginning January 1, 2011.
