SFB - Transregio 15 "GESY" Seminar Series

Seminar:

The SFB - Transregio 15 "Governance and Efficiency of Economic Systems" (GESY) is a research project planned for twelve years networking five German universities (Free University, Berlin; Humboldt-University, Berlin; Universities of Bonn, Mannheim and Munich) as well as the Center for European Economic Research  (ZEW) in Mannheim, funded by the German Research Foundation (DFG). The project's research focuses on examining the economic consequences of two phenomena:  the revolutions in information and communication technologies, as well as the rapid internationalization of markets, better known as globalization. Picking up speed in the last decade of the twentieth century, these new developments have resulted in a lasting change to the economic structure which have affected all areas of the economic system.
