30.11.-1.12.2017: European Blockchain Workshop at the EUI

Participants in this workshop debated the future impact and implications of blockchain technologies on existing governance structures and regulatory regimes, working in five focused working groups over the course of two days.

27.-28.11.2017: Varieties of Citizenship Workshop at the EUI

During the workshop 'Varieties of Citizenship in a Globalised World', researchers discussed citizenship regimes; global trends in citizenship policies; and opportunities that emerging technologies create to existing frameworks of citizenship.

9.10.2017: Forum 2000 Panel Discussion in Prague

In a series of workshops, participants met in Berlin to discuss the concepts of democracy and citizenship, the changes to the empirical and normative landscape brought about by global migration, and the ethical dilemmas that these changes entail.
