Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct demands clear agreements between mentor and doctoral and postdoctoral candidates concerning content and schedule for the dissertation, the boundaries/contours/range of dissertation/thesis and project work, as well as questions about further professional qualifications. Regular status meetings and presentations of the progress of work at colloquia within research units ensure the constant exchange that is vital to the successful conferral of a doctoral degree or postdoctoral qualification. Doctoral and postdoctoral candidates should present their research work at conferences and be given the opportunity to gather teaching experience as well.
