Drawing on the English Short Title Catalogue, the Eighteenth Century Collections Online offers access to more than 180,000 titles of books, pamphlets, essays, and broadsheets that appeared primarily in Great Britain. The e-book collection contains works on history, geography, the fine arts, the social sciences, language and literature, theology and philosophy, law, medicine, natural science, and technology. Nearly 40 million pages are available for full-text searches with simple and advanced search criteria.

The digitized collection of the work of the Dutch physician and feminist Aletta H. Jacobs is the world's largest full-text database on the history of women and of feminism. It consists of books, periodicals and pamphlets, reflecting the development of feminist consciousness and the women's rights movement. Covering four centuries it is much more far-reaching than the existing national licenses.
