The database contains digitized eighteenth- and nineteenth-century English newspapers and pamphlets (totaling 1,270 titles) from the collection of Reverend Charles Burney (1757-1817). The documents include parliamentary publications and daily news from London, the British empire, neighboring countries, and their royal houses or governments.

This databank contains a representative selection from the extensive newspaper collection of the British Library. It offers full runs of 48 national and regional nineteenth-century British newspapers

The database consists solely of the full-text English content of 500 newspapers from all U.S. states and territories. The compilation focuses on material published between 1800 and 1900 and focuses on the American Civil War, Afro-American culture and history, western immigration, and Antebellum-era life.

The site offers the archive data on 152 titles that have appeared with Brill Academic Publishers. The focus is on the humanities and the social sciences, international law, and selected areas in the natural sciences. The Brockhaus Wissensservice centers on the Brockhaus encyclopedia online, the largest professionally edited German-language encyclopedia. Its more than 300,000 keyword entries and the content of more than 1,500 tables and synopses are constantly updated and complemented by new entries.

DigiZeitschriften is a research service which offers an electronic archive of core German journals of scientific importance. These are mainly journals with a long-established tradition in their field. All magazines are available in full-text from their first year up to a so-called ?moving wall? (about 3-5 years before the current year, depending on the publication).

Drawing on the English Short Title Catalogue, the Eighteenth Century Collections Online offers access to more than 180,000 titles of books, pamphlets, essays, and broadsheets that appeared primarily in Great Britain. The e-book collection contains works on history, geography, the fine arts, the social sciences, language and literature, theology and philosophy, law, medicine, natural science, and technology. Nearly 40 million pages are available for full-text searches with simple and advanced search criteria.

The collection has the full texts of more than 150 popular eighteenth-century periodicals published in Great Britain. The journals were drawn from the Hope Collection at the Bodleian Library in Oxford and from the sources at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center. The issues selected for digitization were those not already contained in Early English Books Online (EEBO), Eighteenth Century Collections Online (ECCO), or Early English Newspapers.

ELFI is the electronic information brokerage system that centrally supplies institutions of higher education throughout the German-speaking area with current details on opportunities to acquire research funding. It contains information on the modalities of acquiring funds (e.g., support programs, prices, fellowships, and the financing of material and travel costs) as well as details about 3,700 national and international funding institutions and about more than 8,000 research funding programs (link to the original source of information, leaflets, and forms can be downloaded directly). The Financial Times Historical Archive contains the complete content of all printed issues of the Financial Times from 1888 through 2010. It also has the supplements entitled Financial Times Magazine and How to Spend It. Full-text searches can be used with all the content. The statistics and tables therein can be exported and downloaded. Each issue can be searched separately.

The access is daily updated and includes all articles from the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung and the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung since 1993, the online articles from FAZ.NET since 2001, the articles from the magazines F.A.Z.-Woche, Frankfurter Allgemeine Quarterly and Frankfurter Allgemeine Metropol since 2016 as well as the article from the digital offer F.A.Z. Objection since 2017. "FAZ-Seiten" take you to the pages in the newspaper layout.

The information offered by Genios encompasses more than 1,300 databases, 340 daily and weekly newspapers, 140 million details about businesses, 800 professional journals, 20,000 e-books, 270,000 market studies, and 3 million details about individuals.

JSTOR offers access to the full-text versions of predeminantly anglo-american journals starting with the first volume up to the so-called 'moving wall'. JSTOR is not a current issues database. Because of JSTOR's archival mission, there is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the content available in JSTOR. The WZB license agreement with JSTOR includes access to the following collections: The Arts & Sciences I Collection (119 titles), the Arts & Sciences II Collection (125 titles) and the Business Collection (47 titles).

The database has the names and dates of more than 78,000 living and about 9,500 deceased scholars of German-speaking academic institutions. It lists their key biographical details, addresses, information on their focuses and fields of research. It also contains extensive bibliographical material, including a selection of the most important publications in journals, collective volumes, and encyclopedias.

The archive contains the full texts of more than 1,050 periodicals of the Springer Publishing Company (including Kluwer), generally as of vol. 1 through the year 2002. The Lecture Notes archive, too, is available in the Springer online journal archives and dates back to 2009. It contains 3,593 volumes in the following series, from vol. 1 through the year 1996: Computer Science, Control and Information Science, Earth Sciences, Mathematics, and Physics.

Statista is a port that clusters statistical data from various institutes and sources. It offers statistics on more than 60,000 topics from over 18,000 sources across 20 categories of economic activity ranging from farming to administration and social affairs. The key content of this site consists of data that is relevant to decision-making yet both difficult to ferret out and complicated to analyze and interpret. They are drawn mostly from studies and results of current market research. The source, date of publication, number of persons surveyed, and other available metadata on each statistic are published, so the figures can be checked on Statista. Analyses and interpretations of data sets are based on scientific criteria. Note: The language selection not only changes the language, but also changes the content.
