The WZB has licensed the following ancillary data banks: - Social Sciences Citation Index (includes approximately 4,500 social science and economics journals from 55 disciplines, such as psychology, sociology, and anthropology as of 1972) - Arts & Humanities Citation Index (with references to approximately 2,300 journals in the arts and humanities as of 1975) - Book Citation Index (with books published as of 2005) - Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Science (CPCI-S, conferences as of 1990) - Conference Proceedings Citation Index - Social Science & Humanities (CPCI-SSH, conferences as of 1990) - Current Contents Connect (as of 1998) - Data Citation Index (research data, as of 1900) - Derwent Innovations Index (edited patents, as of 1963) - Zoological Records (technical database, as of 1964) - Biosis Citation Index (technical database, as of 1928) - Index Chemicus (with search function for chemical structures, as of 1993) - Current Chemical Reactions (technical database, 1985) Another special feature of the WoS is that it lists each document's sources (cited references) and gives their citation frequency (times cited).
