The Book Citation Index contains over 40,000 (as per 2013) editorially selected scientific books (online and print editions) published since 2005 in a wide range of disciplines. 10,000 new titles are to be added each year, including volumes published as a series. As a module in the Web of Science Core Collection, the Book Citation Index adds over 13.5 million references to that collection. Among other things, it allows users to search for comprehensive bibliographic information and to display the accurate numbering of citations (in journals, conference papers, and books).

Covers the proceedings of conferences, symposiums, seminars, workshops, and congresses worldwide. The "Cited Reference Search" tool allows users to identify the conference proceedings that were cited most frequently.

Drawing on the English Short Title Catalogue, the Eighteenth Century Collections Online offers access to more than 180,000 titles of books, pamphlets, essays, and broadsheets that appeared primarily in Great Britain. The e-book collection contains works on history, geography, the fine arts, the social sciences, language and literature, theology and philosophy, law, medicine, natural science, and technology. Nearly 40 million pages are available for full-text searches with simple and advanced search criteria.

Evaluation of scientific journals according to the criteria of the Institute for Scientific Information (for example "impact factor"). The data refer to the journals evaluated in the databases JCR Science Edition or JCR Social Sciences Edition. The online access is divided into: JCR Science Edition (approx. 8000 journals evaluated) JCR Social Sciences Edition (approx. 2600 journals evaluated) The JCR can be used to answer the following questions: How often has a particular journal been cited? By which journals was a journal cited? How soon and how long after its publication was a magazine cited? What other journals were cited by a particular journal? The data provide annual informational indicators such as citation rate, impact factor, Immediacy Index (how many times an article is cited on average in the same year) and Cited Half-Life (the half-life of individual journals). In addition, the JCRs provide information on which other journals are cited by a particular journal. The Journal Impact Factor indicates the average citation rate of a journal's articles in a given year. The Journal Impact Factor refers to the entire journal; it is not representative of individual articles or their authors Indicator for the "relative importance" of a journal within a subject area.

JSTOR offers access to the full-text versions of predeminantly anglo-american journals starting with the first volume up to the so-called 'moving wall'. JSTOR is not a current issues database. Because of JSTOR's archival mission, there is a gap, typically from 1 to 5 years, between the most recently published journal issue and the content available in JSTOR. The WZB license agreement with JSTOR includes access to the following collections: The Arts & Sciences I Collection (119 titles), the Arts & Sciences II Collection (125 titles) and the Business Collection (47 titles).

The OECD iLibrary includes all OECD books published since 1998. That means, a total of 8.330 books in PDF format with an additional 300 books annually. Over 20 OECD magazine series in PDF format, dated from 1961. All new releases will be included in the collection. Direct access to 23 OECD statistical databases. The IEA databases are not included.

Oxford Journals belongs to Oxford University Press, the world's largest university publisher. The site encompasses 324 titles.

The HSS collection includes 196 journals about law, humanities and social sciences.

Periodicals Archive Online offers the back issues of electronic journals on culture, the humanities, and the social sciences. This resource encompasses more than 700 periodicals, totaling over 3 million articles (15 million pages). The license covers collections 1 through 6.

This index of historical periodicals facilitates bibliographical research in approximately 4,800 journals in the arts, humanities, and social science in one user interface. It covers the period from 1739 to 2000 and gives access to publications in over 37 specialized areas and more than 40 languages and dialects.

Provides access to current and retrospective bibliographic information, author abstracts, and cited references found in over 2,474 of the world's leading scholarly social sciences journals covering more than 50 disciplines. This database is part of Web of Science.

As a "newspaper documenting everything", the Times from London has been offering authoritative, award-winning coverage since 1785, information on parliamentary debates, critical interpretation of facts, and a unique historical insight into the views of major reporters and editions of the respective epoch. The Times Digital Archive is an unrivaled opportunity to explore the content of one of the most popular and most frequently cited daily newspapers - online and in the respective context of the original edition. Thanks to the full-text search and classification of each article, each issue can be searched through by keywords in the title or article text, author and subject categories. Afterwards, the article can be viewed completely and quickly on the screen as a full text or the whole page on which a requested article appears. In addition, it is possible to watch a certain issue of the newspaper from a particular day and "leaf through" it.

Online Wiley journals.

The database comprises the 175 development indicators from the printed Atlas of Global Development. One can select the facts either by using the search function or by browsing topics. The data are diagrammed and presented as comparisons between countries. Users must register to export the data, but there is no charge.
