"My Research in Context"

Towards Fair Appointments

A team led by behavioral economist Dorothea Kübler seeks to interrupt the black market for appointments with online booking systems. Instead, they propose an alternative approach where appointments are clustered and randomly distributed like in a lottery. WZB researcher Rustdamjan Hakimov explains the model.

The clip, produced by Vladimir Bondarenko and WZB press officer Gabriele Kammerer, is the seventh in a series introducing WZB-researchers and their work. Our mobile studio visited sites relevant to the respective research. "My Research in Context" - short films depicting academic work as it relates to society.
