Ann-Kathrin Katzinski
Ann Katzinski is a research associate in the project 'Generative AI in the Workplace: Application, Impact and Design' within the research group 'Globalization, Work and Production' and an affiliated researcher at the Weizenbaum Institute. She previously conducted research there in the project 'ELIZA reloaded,' examining potential changes in knowledge work through generative language-based AI systems, using ChatGPT as a case study. Her current research at WZB builds on this, focusing on the interplay between generative AI and programmers.
She is also pursuing a Master's degree in Social Sciences at Humboldt University of Berlin, where she has already designed and led student research projects for three years. Her research interests are closely linked to digital transformation and the public sphere. She is in the process of founding her non-profit association, Kunstform Wissenschaft, which is dedicated to fostering dialogue between society and science and strengthening science communication. Additionally, she is active in political engagement, working as a consultant for finance, funding, and digitalisation.
