KonsortSWD
KonsortSWD is the consortium for the social, educational, behavioural and economic sciences in the National Research Data Infrastructure (NFDI). It is funded since October 2020. It is our goal to facilitate and improve the work with data from and for research. To achieve this, we are developing a range of services that address the needs of researchers. KonsortSWD can build on two decades of experience of research data centres that offer researchers access to sensitive - i.e. restricted - data in particular. KonsortSWD is part of a broad network that currently includes 41 research data centres.
Within KonsortSWD, the WZB is responsible for community integration with the office of the German Data Forum (RatSWD), the consortium's public relations work and the organisation of the Conference for Social and Economic Data (KSWD).
More information can be found on the Consortium and the German Data Forum (RatSWD) websites.
In addition, the team is home to the project Best_FDM: Networking Empirical Social Science Research in Social Crises.
