Leviathan - Berlin Journal of Social Sciences
Leviathan is a journal committed to the idea of social scientific enlightenment and criticism. Published are current contributions in research and political, cultural, economic, philosophical, legal, and media-related debate. It is directed toward a wide audience in the fields of teaching and research, politics and administration, and journalism and media. Representing methodological, disciplinary and political pluralism, the magazine builds bridges between theory, empiricism and political practice.
Leviathan is a peer-reviewed publication and is published quarterly by the WZB together with the Freie Universität Berlin, the Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin and the Hertie School of Governance, since March 2012 under the Nomos Verlag imprint. Editorial duties are in the hands of Reinhard Blomert and Claudia Czingon, both research fellows at the WZB.
