The Cities, Mobility and Membership Research Collaborative Launch

The Cities, Migration and Membership Research Collaborative will hold a two-day symposium focused on the topic of cities and mobility. This event brings together scholars, practitioners and policy-makers from around the globe with the objective to advance empirical and normative research to understand and meet the challenges posed by human mobility to cities in the 21st Century.

The Collaborative supports interdisciplinary research and promotes integrated approaches to conceptual and evidence-based research and policy analysis on the topic of cities and human mobility. Cities are actively looking to new ways of doing business to foster the opportunities and meet the challenges they face.

The Cities, Migration and Membership Research Collaborative engages with city efforts by providing normative frameworks, data and analysis to help advance policies that welcome and effectively incorporate migrants into cities.
