Why the new application process should begin soon
The new application process, which will not begin winter semester 2011/2012 as originally planned, should in the opinion of WZB researchers Dorothea Kübler and Frank Hüber be initiated as soon as possible. It offers applicants and high schools a number of advantages. Multiple acceptances and protracted second-choice processes in accepting students for application-based fields of study would soon belong to the past. According to the scholars in the new WZBrief Bildung, the problems that led to the delay are self-made.
