European Rule of Law Conference 2025 (15-16 September 2025)

What is the state of democracy and the rule of law in Europe and how can we shape its future? The foundational aims and values of the European Union are increasingly questioned by recent developments and crises within Europe and the wider world that require critical and interdisciplinary dialogue. This two-day European Rule of Law conference invites scholars and practitioners of law, policy-makers, members of civil society, journalists and everyone interested to come together in Berlin to explore, discuss and develop key questions around the state, the challenges and future of democracy and the rule of law in Europe.
