Rachel Brulé is an Assistant Professor of Global Development Policy at the Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies at Boston University. She was visiting the Institutions and Political Inequality unit in the summer of 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022 and returns in July 2023. Her work centers on the political economy of development, gender equality, and the role of legal institutions in altering social conventions, particularly in India. In 2018 she worked on the completion of her book "Women's representation and resistance: Positive and perverse consequence of Indian laws for gender equality".
