WZB International Alumni Conference "The Social Sciences in the Times of Brexit"

From 13th to 15th June 2018, the WZB International Alumni Conference “The Social Sciences in Times of Brexit” took place at Nuffield College, University of Oxford.

The conference was funded by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation (AvH). Its objective was to promote the formation of international networks, accelerate the internationalization of research, and to discuss the Brexit as a particular challenge for the social sciences.

The conference was attended by 60 people, including WZB alumni from England, France, and Hungary, researchers from the University of Oxford, members of the Oxford Brexit Strategy Office, as well as multipliers from UK companies and the media. The WZB was represented by Jutta Allmendinger and Michael Zürn on the panels.
