Hello, my name is Mathis Fräßdorf and since September 2016 I have been the head of the " Research Information" (WIN) department, in which the two the two previously separate work units Library and Central Data Management were merged. At the same time the archive and Open Access departments were given greater independence. My role at the WZB is primarily
the coordination of the various activities of the WIN department, which the information supply for the scientists, but also for all other but also all other employees of the WZB. This includes the long-term strategic orientation of the department as well as networking within the Leibniz Association and beyond. Feel free to contact me at any time if you or other WZB employees about the supply of literature, data, licenses for databases or for databases or archive material or if you have general questions about WIN topics, e.g. further developments in the library tower, a publication of your data, why Open Access is good or what Mr. Dahrendorf's typewriter is all about.
