Intense cooperation has developed with research institutes throughout the world, above all the United States, Great Britain, France, the Netherlands, the Scandinavian countries, and Japan, but also eastern European countries. Agreements of cooperation exist with the Free University of Berlin, the Technical University of Berlin, and the Humboldt University Berlin, but also with the Polish Academy of Science in Warsaw.
