The WZB - a lighthouse institution

These days, when the sun goes down, you will find an ephemeral Christmas installation on the Reichpietschufer in Berlin Schöneberg: The old building of the WZB has been transformed into a kind of huge Advent calendar. 38 decorated wooden frames adorn the office windows.

"Armut" ("poverty), "Konflikt", or "Macht" ("power") - keywords of the WZB's research stand in the windows like the spines of books. Other windows have been decorated with colored squircles, the WZB symbols in red, green and blue.
