Ayca Arkilic was a visiting researcher at the Migration, Integration, Transnationalization research unit from September 2013 until January 2014. She is a PhD candidate at the University of Texas at Austin, and her fields of specialization are Comparative Politics and Public Policy. During her time at the WZB she was working on her dissertation, in which she examines how the confrontation or convergence of government policies in Turkey and in the host countries affects Turkish-Muslim communities in Germany and France.
