Short bio
Halina Nadobnik is a social policy researcher and she holds a PhD degree in social sciences from University of Economics and Business in Poznan (Poland). In her dissertation she studied local public policy towards older people in the city of Poznan. In her research so far she strives to understand ageing better. Both from the perspective of older people, but also from the perspective of NGOs, policymakers, and public institutions. During her stay at WZB she will engage in the project "AI Ageism: new forms of age discrimination and exclusion in the era of algorithms and artificial intelligence" in the research group Globalization, Work, Production.
