Jana Catalina Glaese, Ph.D.

Jana Catalina Glaese is a sociologist, editor of the Philosophie Magazin and visiting researcher of the Research Department Transformations of Democracy in October. She received her Ph.D. from New York University in 2023 with a dissertation that examined debates on labor migration in Thuringia and was awarded the Dissertation Prize of the Section for Migration and Ethnic Minorities of the DGS (German Sociological Association). During her stay at the WZB, she will work on a book titled "Living with the Far Right" which describes the shared daily lives of supporters and opponents of the far right.
