Prof. Dr. Katrin Auspurg

Katrin Auspurg is Professor of Sociology with a focus on quantitative methods of empirical social research at the Department of Sociology at LMU Munich and an elected Fellow of the European Academy of Sociology. Her main research interests are in survey and experimental research methods, in explaining inequalities within labor markets and families, causes and consequences of discrimination, as well as attitudes toward immigration. She is also increasingly committed to examining and improving the replicability of social science research and to better understanding environmental and climate change-related attitudes and behaviors.
