Short bio
Dr. Maximilian Fochler, university assistant (tenure track) and deputy head of Vienna university's department of science and technology studies, is a guest researcher in the research group science policy studies in April and May 2014. His research foci are cultures of knowledge and knowledge production as well as relations between technosciences and their publics. During his stay he will be working on his current project ""Living and Working in the »Hothouses of Innovation«", financed by the Austrian academy of sciences - analyzing how researchers live, work and produce knowledge in new hybrid spaces at the interface of academia and business in the life sciences.
