Nourhan Elsayed

Nourhan Elsayed is a research fellow in the research unit Transformations of Democracy. Prior to joining WZB, she completed a master's degree in Political Science at the University of Mannheim, where her thesis focused on attitudes towards asylum seekers in Germany. Nourhan holds a BSc in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, where she studied international relations and Arab politics and completed a research project on gendered war rhetoric during the “War on Terror”. Her research interests include immigration, the far right and democratization.
