Oscar Stuhler
Oscar Stuhler is an Assistant Professor at Northwestern University’s Department of Sociology. He received his PhD in sociology at New York University. He will be a visiting researcher with the Global Governance unit of the WZB during the summer of 2025, where he will be working on a project on temporality in the climate change discourse. Oskar Stuhler is a sociologist studying discourse with computational methods. Broadly, he is interested in culture, political sociology, social networks, and natural language processing. Earlier, he was a visiting fellow at WZB's Transformations of Democracy unit for the summer of 2022 and had earned his Master's degree in Social Sciences from The University of Chicago and a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences from Humboldt University of Berlin.
