Patricia Lorente Labrado
Patricia Lorente is a doctoral student in Social Sciences at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid. Her research focuses on the measurement and operationalization of effort. In her thesis, she examines the sociodemographic determinants of student motivation and persistence, particularly in relation to achievement gaps. As part of her PhD, Patricia will be a guest at the research department “Skill Formation and Labor Markets” until the end of January 2025.
