Ramsey Wise
Short bio
Ramsey Wise is a PhD student at the Bremen International Graduate School for the Social Sciences (BIGSSS) at the University of Bremen, where she also took part in the creative unit project “Internationalization of Education Policy: After PISA and the Bologna Process” as part of the Collaborative Research Center, “Transformations of the State”. Before starting her doctoral studies, she completed a master’s degree in public policy at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. While visiting at the WZB as a PhD guest this semester, she joins the Education and Labor Market Research Unit, where she continues her doctoral work on atypical employment during the school-to-work transition. Her research interests also include social stratification and inequality research using longitudinal methods.
