Zhao Yang is a visiting researcher of the research group Politics of Digitalization as well as a Ph.D. candidate at Fudan University, China. Her current research interests include the EU’s artificial intelligence governance, global AI governance, and China-EU relations. During her stay at WZB, she will also participate in the project “ClaimSov – (Re-)claiming digital sovereignty in discourse, policy and practice” managed by Dr. Julia Pohle with a focus on China and EU’s digital strategies.
