Anke Marie Schmidt

Anke Schmidt’s research focuses on socio-technical aspects of the energy and transport transition, with an emphasis on mobility strategies, social acceptance and participation, and social inclusion.
From 2019 to 2026, she held senior leadership roles at New Urban Transport Solutions GmbH (Nuts One), including Senior Project Lead and Managing Director. Previously, the geographer worked at the WZB Berlin Social Science Center and at the Innovation Center for Mobility and Social Change (InnoZ).
