WZB-Studie

Dear visitors of our website,

WZB-Mitteilungen erschienen

Call for applications

The WZB invites applications for the A.SK Post-doctoral Fellowships 2019. The fellowships support research on public policy with a focus on economic and governmental reforms. Three fellowships will be awarded for the duration of up to 12 months and can be taken up in 2019 or 2020.

New study

The WZB discussion paper shows the relationship between lean production and Industrie 4.0, focusing on the question of autonomy in the work process. In contrast to the claim made by official Industrie 4.0 concepts that the autonomy of the employees would increase, the authors see in the current implementation projects a tendency towards greater standardization and control of work.
