Dr. Justyna Stypińska
Justyna Stypińska ist Soziologin mit Forschungsinteressen an verschiedenen Formen algorithmischer Diskriminierung und Voreingenommenheit in KI-Technologien und wie diese neue Dimensionen sozialer und wirtschaftlicher Ungleichheiten im Spätkapitalismus schaffen. Zuvor leitete sie als wissenschaftliche Mitarbeiterin an der Freien Universität Berlin ein internationales Projekt zu Innovation und Alter im Unternehmertum. Am WZB arbeitet sie als Principal Investigator eines von der Volkswagenstiftung geförderten internationalen Forschungsprojekts "AI Ageism: new forms of age discrimination and exclusion in the era of algorithms and artificial intelligence". Das interdisziplinäre Projekt untersucht die Auswirkungen des Einsatzes von KI-Technologien auf die alternden Bevölkerungen in Europa aus einer soziotechnischen Perspektive.
